Donor hands university video production truck

Television viewers may soon get a look at St. Bonaventure University from several different angles. Mark Wolff, a CBS producer and father of senior journalism and mass communication major Alex Wolff, arranged the donation of a fully equipped video production truck to the university during winter break.

The current ratio of male and female students is completely equal, according to St. Bonaventure University's Web site. However, the same cannot be said for the distribution of gender among faculty members, Michael Fischer, provost and vice president for academic affairs, wrote in an e-mail Wednesday.

For 27 years, Cheryl L. Peters photographed nearly every member of the university community. The impact she had on those people's lives was just as far-reaching. Peters, a long-time employee of St. Bonaventure University, passed away at age 65 Jan. 15 after a brief illness.

Pizza Hut's departure aids local businesses

After two Olean Pizza Huts recently closed last semester, local pizza business managers have noticed increases in sales. Although Pizza Hut's public relations department didn't explain why the West State and North Union streets' locations were closed, Jeff Kenyon, manager at Tasta Pizza, said he believes one of the sites closed for reasons unrelated to the nation's sputtering economy.
